Welcome to the first edition of Why I Social Sessions - which will bring you short discussions focused on one-singular topic. This is not your standard Why I Social episode where we learn about a guest - but instead - we focus on important topics impacting the social media space today.
Today, on Why I Social Sessions, guest (and Why I Social alum) Lucy Rendler-Kaplan and I discuss changes happening on Twitter with a focus on #Twitter10k and the misinformation being spread regarding Twitter's big change.
On Episode 1
1. Twitter changes - are they good or bad?
2. How/what misinformation is being spread about #Twitter10k
3. How will changes to Twitter impact NEW users of the platform?

I'd encourage you to use the hashtag #WISSessions to share your thoughts.
This Week's Question(s):
Ross Brand (@iRossBrand) is the Vice President (and co-founder) of HR Avant-Garde and the editor of LivestreamUniverse.com. He also hosts the Blab show "Livestream Stars" which I had the pleasure of joining just one week ago.
Ross has a broadcast background, which adds to his skill set as a live-streamer, and is is an NYU alumni (with a Master of Science in Human Resource Management). During his time at NYU, he was also the chapter President for SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
Derek K Hubbard (@DerekKHubbard) is Social Business Specialist for Southwest Airlines. He is a dynamic and experienced speaker with a proven track record of creating compelling content for social and digital mediums.
I had the pleasure of meeting Derek in 2015 at the Social Media Strategies Summit in Dallas where we were both speaking. I immediately knew that he'd be a great fit for the show and he does not prove me wrong. His story is a fascinating one and his work is even more impressive.
